9:00-9:10

Arrival – Campers will start the day in centers while all of the children are arriving.

9:10-9:30

Welcome Circle – We will begin every morning circle with our classroom welcome song and introduce campers to the activities for the day.  

9:30-10:00

Outdoor Free Play – We will be able to play with the next oldest classroom during outside time. The Busy Bees will join us for the last 15 minutes of our scheduled outdoor play!

10:00-10:10

Diapers/Potty and Wash Hands – After coming inside we will assist campers in using the restroom as needed, change camper’s diapers, and wash hands in preparation for morning snack.

10:10-10:30

Snack – We will eat snack and then clean up and wash hands. Campers will be encouraged to use words and phrases such as, “mine!” (when a teacher is calling names and passing out snack), “all done,” “please,” etc.

10:30-10:45

Language Circle/Music Break – During Language Circle we will read our book of the day and then do a language-based activity centered on the book’s theme. We will then take a “music break” to move around and get some wiggles out!

10:45-11:00

Science – Our science activities always start with a question. We then ask the campers to make individual predictions based on the question. We record the class’s answers, and put our predictions to the test in a hands-on experiment. Finally, we discuss what happened and the ultimate answers to our original questions.

11:00—11:15

Centers – The campers will be able to explore our centers in free play guided by teachers.

11:15—11:30

Art – We will engage in art activities daily that relate back to our weekly theme. Art will be displayed in the classroom and in the hallways until it is sent home with campers.

11:30-11:50

Centers/Wash Hands – The campers will be able to go back to centers as they are finishing cleaning up from art and until it is time to wash hands for lunch.

11:50-12:20

Lunch – Campers will be assisted with their lunches as needed and will be encouraged to interact with their peers during this time as well as discuss the day’s events with the group.

12:20-12:30

Diapers/Potty and Wash Hands – After lunch we will assist campers in using the restroom as needed, change camper’s diapers, and wash hands in preparation for Music Circle.

12:30-12:45

Music/Closing Circle – We will sing various songs, including songs that go along with our weekly theme, and sing our Goodbye Song when it is time to go home.
