This weeks goals are to:

• Become familiar with class routines and schedules 
• Meet fellow classmates 
• Get to know your Awesome Ants teachers 
• Learn class song, along with other songs

Book of the Day

• Tuesday: Dog's Colorful Day by Emma Dodd 
• Wednesday: My Many Colored Days by Dr. Seuss 
• Thursday: The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle 

Theme Goals:

• Learn colors of the rainbow 
• Encouraging two word responses when prompted with questions about colors 
• Identifying names of colored objects in the classroom 
• Challenging children to label unfamiliar objects with the correct color
• Improve focus and attention 

This week at camp, you can get excited about:

• Painting with colored ice cubes
• Create your own colored shaving cream art  
• Learning new songs: "The Ant Song," "Good Morning," and "The Rope Song" 
• Meeting new friends! 
• Seeing real LIVE ants!
